Va-Vite Pty Ltd was established in Australia in 1956 and commenced manufacturing Lambswool Dusters in 1963. In that time we have established ourselves as market leaders in Lambswool Dusters, supplying master distributors in Australia, USA, Europe, Scandinavia and Japan.
More recently, using our extensive manufacturing experience we have added Ostrich Feather Dusters and Lambskin Paint Roller Covers and Applicator Pads to our product range.
Constant, Reliable Supply
In 2003 Va-Vite relocated all of our purpose built plant and equipment from our Australian factory and established a new 5,300 square meter manufacturing facility in Bandung, Indonesia. While our head office remains in Melbourne, Australia, all manufacturing is now performed in Indonesia and shipments are made direct from Indonesia to your preferred destination.
Because of our location at the hub of Australia's Lambswool producing regions in South Eastern Australia, we are able to select premium Australian Lambskins each season. This enables Va-Vite to maintain the most constant wool quality from year to year.
At Va-Vite we pride ourselves on the consistent quality of both our products and our service. We are committed to providing our customers with the best quality products available, delivered on schedule, at a competitive price.
The quality of our service is just as important to us as the quality of our products. From keeping you informed of the status of your orders, to making shipping and documentation arrangements, we strive to ensure shipments run smoothly to meet your expectations.
Exporting dusters Worldwide remains the core of our business and with our extensive export experience, we are able to offer a wide range of delivery options to meet almost any customer requirement.
We employ 80 staff in our Indonesian factory and ensure that only adult staff are employed. Our staff are provided with filtered drinking water and a meal daily. Remuneration and employment terms and conditions are in accordance with Indonesian government regulations, which are revised annually.
As there is no reticulated water infrastructure available in much of Indonesia, it was necessary to drill a deep well to access clean, artesian water for our Lambskin processing plant. This water must pass through a water softener to meet our water requirements. As both the quality and quantity of water from our deep well is substantially superior to the water available to the local village adjacent to our manufacturing facility, we provide the village with water via a pipe running from our water softening plant.
To ensure minimal salt pollution to the environment as a result of the lambskin tanning process, solid salts are manually removed from preserved lambskin pelts prior to tanning. A waste water treatment plant has been installed to treat the effluent from the lambskin scouring and tanning process.
All waste from our manufacturing processes is collected by local recyclers and recycled for alternate uses where possible.
